21 November 2008 Naturalization Ceremony At the Indianapolis International Festival Naturalization court proceeding, Clarence Cook compatriots Ron Darrah, Earl Salisbury, and John Horton congratulated and 260 new citizens and presented them with American flags. |

21 May 2008 Quarterly Business Meeting Ray E. Boomhower, of the Indiana Historical Society, presented a program: "Robert F. Kennedy and the 1968 Indiana Primary" Scott Hosier received the first of the Indiana Society's new "Indiana Service Medal." |

JROTC Awards The Clarence A. Cook Chapter presented 9 ROTC and JRTOC awards in April and May. |

20 March 2008 Naturalization Service Stuart Hart and Ron Darrah participated in a Naturalization proceeding at Ben Davis High School. Stuart gave a short welcoming speech to 197 new citizens with families and friends, and Ron led the people in the National Anthem. As the new citizens filed out, Stuart and Ron gave each one an American flag. The American flags are provided by the Indiana Society DAR, who install a sticker on each flag that says "Sons of the American Revolution, Clarence A. Cook Chapter". |
