Michael Dollinger, proprietor of Smoking Iron in Castleton, attended the Cook Chapter's quarterly meeting, where he demonstrated typical colonial fashions and explained some of the variations in American clothing.
 
  15 August 2007 -

Cook Chapter Registrar Jack E. Moore and President Steven Oberlin induct our newest members, Arthur "Art" Bowers and Marcus Turner.
 
  May 2007 -

The Clarence A. Cook Chapter awarded one ROTC and eleven JROTC medals and certificates at area high schools and IUPUI. Chapter Vice-President A. Stuart Hart personally presented eight of them, and the other four were presented by the cadre at their award ceremonies.

Quarterly Business Meeting

After the quarterly business meeting, held in the Marion County Genealogical Society at the Crown Hill Cemetery waiting station, the Cook Chapter commemorated the graves of three compatriots buried at Crown Hill: Clarence A. Cook, our chapter's namesake and one of the founders of our chapter; William English, a U.S. Congressman and 1880 Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee who helped found the Indiana Society; and President Benjamin Harrison. Bronze markers were placed at all three gravesites.

Cook member and outgoing Indiana Society President Garry M. Eckard places a presidential pin on incoming Society President Robert D. Howell, Sr.

Cook member Jack E. Moore was elected to serve as Society Secretary and Historian.
