	Several members of the Clarence A. Cook Chapter are active in the Indiana Society Color Guard. Photos of many of these events are available on the Indiana Society Photo Album.
	20 November 2009 Jerry Sullivan, Ron Darrah, and Earl Salisbury make ready to hand out flags to our newest citizens during a naturalization proceeding at the International Festival, Indiana Fairgrounds. Stuart Hart and John Horton stood aside for picture taking with the new citizens.
	18 November 2009 Annual Business Meeting Suzanne Dennis presented her portrayal of "Mad Anne" Bailey, a scout and spy in the Western frontier during the French & Indian War and American Revolution.
	New officers were elected for 2010: President - Mike Oberlin, VP - Wade Harshman, Secretary - Marcus Turner, Treasurer - Bruce Oakley, Chaplain - Graham Morey, Registrar/Genealogist - Ron Darrah. The position of Historian is not currently filled.
	While Cook Chapter President Dave Betzner looks on, chapter Registrar Ron Darrah and Indiana Society President Steve Oberlin induct Robert Clinton Patterson into the Cook Chapter.
	19 August 2009 Quarterly Business Meeting
	25 July 2009 The Clarence A. Cook Chapter hosted the Summer meeting of the Indiana Society SAR, at the MacArthur Room of the Indiana War Memorial. Brigadier General J. Stewart Goodwin, Executive Director of the Indiana War Memorials Commission, was the guest speaker. At left: Indiana Society President Steven Oberlin inducts the Cook Chapter's newest member, compatriot Jack Fife.
	2-4 July 2009 The Indiana Society Color Guard performed at Symphony on the Prairie's annual Independence Day celebrations. Several Cook members attended and either participated with the Color Guard, or cheered them on. See the Indiana Society's Color Guard page for pictures.
	18 April 2009 The Clarence A. Cook Chapter hosted the Annual meeting of the Indiana Society SAR at the Propylaeum Mansion in Indianapolis.
	21 February 2009 David Betzner pins the Bronze Good Citizenship medal on Petty Officer Second-Class Mike Beall. The Cadet is a member of the USS Indianapolis CA-35 Division, Sea Cadets.
	18 February 2009 Quarterly Business Meeting Brigadier General J. Stewart Goodwin, Assistant Adjutant General, Indiana Air National Guard, attended the meeting and gave a presentation on the history of the Indiana National Guard, the current role of the Guard in Indiana and the War on Terror, and the Indiana War Memorial. Ray E. Boomhower, of the Indiana Historical Society, presented a short program on Hoosier author Kurt Vonnegut and the 40th anniversary of his best-selling novel Slaughterhouse-Five, based on Vonnegut's experiences as a U.S. Army soldier held as a Prisoner of War during the fire-bombing of Dresden in 1945.
